[English text below, provided by the architects] Berlokasi di Jakarta, AG AP House merupakan renovasi rumah dua lantai yang diubah menjadi hunian tiga lantai yang terang dan lapang untuk keluarga muda. Hunian dengan konsep tropis modern ini memberikan ruang yang nyaman bagi pasangan muda dan anak-anak, serta orang tua pemilik yang sering berkunjung.

Setiap lantai dirancang dengan fungsi yang spesifik, sehingga tercipta tata ruang yang teratur, sekaligus fungsional. Lantai dasar berfungsi sebegai area servis yang mencakup garasi, kamar asisten rumah tangga, dapur kotor, area laundry, dan ruang penyimpanan. Pembagian ini membuat area servis terpisah dengan ruang utama dan area privat. Tata letak rumah pun terasa lebih rapi.

Lantai dua digunakan untuk area publik dimana penghuni dan tamu dapat berkumpul, bersantai, serta saling berinteraksi. Ada pula ruang kerja yang dirancang untuk mendukung produktivitas penghuni. Sementara itu, lantai teratas menjadi zona privat bagi seluruh anggota keluarga. Di sii terdapat kamar utama dan dua kamar anak. Pemisahan area kamar tidur dengan ruang aktivitas utama membuat hunian terasa nyaman, sekaligus memberikan privasi untuk beristirahat bagi para penghuni.

Dalam desainnya, AG AP House menekankan harmoni antara ruang dalam dan luar. Bukaan besar dirancang untuk memaksimalkan sirkulasi udara dan pencahayaan alami. Lantai kedua yang terdiri dari ruang keluarga, area makan, dan pantry dirancang dengan konsep open-plan. Desain ini pun menciptakan kesan luas pada ruangan. Integrasi antara ruang dalam dan luar juga diperkuat dengan keberadaan kolam renang yang menghubungkan area hunian dengan lingkungan sekitar. Kolam menjadi elemen penyegaran, serta ruang rekreasi bagi keluarga untuk berenang atau sekadar bersantai.

Material alami seperti kayu dan elemen tekstur lainnya memberikan kehangatan dan menyatu dengan alam. Pemilihan material ini mencerminkan komitmen terhadap keberlanjutan dan gaya hidup ramah lingkungan.

Meskipun bernuansa alami, AG AP House tetap menampilkan estetika minimalis dengan garis-garis yang halus dan tajam, bentuk geometris, serta desain yang sederhana. Located in Jakarta, the AG AP House renovation transformed a two-story home into a light-filled, three-story home perfectly suited for a growing family. This architectural project, guided by the principles of modern tropical design, addressed the needs of a young couple with children while also providing comfortable accommodation for their frequently visiting parents.

Each floor serves a distinct purpose, fostering order and functionality. The ground floor is dedicated to service areas, which include a garage, maid’s room, wet kitchen, laundry area, and service storage. This placement keeps the functional regions out of the main living and private spaces, contributing to a more organized home layout.

The second floor serves as a public area where family members and guests can gather, relax, and interact. Additionally, it includes designated areas for working, providing a conducive environment for productivity and focus. The top floor is dedicated to the bedroom zone, providing a private and tranquil retreat for the family members. This level houses the master bedroom and two common bedrooms. Separating the bedroom zone from the more active areas of the house ensures that family members have a peaceful space to rest.

AG AP House emphasizes blending the indoor and outdoor seamlessly. Generous openings are strategically placed throughout the residence, fostering air circulation and bathing the interior spaces in warm, natural light. The second floor, where the living room, dining room, and pantry reside, embraces an open-plan design, eliminating the need for partitions and creating a visually expansive and airy social zone. The integration of indoor and outdoor areas further enhances the spacious feel. This blurs the lines between the interior and the surrounding environment, creating a truly inviting and refreshing atmosphere. Additionally, there is a pool, which establishes a harmonious connection between the house and the outdoors. The family can enjoy swimming, lounging by the pool, and comfortably experiencing the outdoors.
