[English text below] DDAP Architect adalah biro arsitektur yang didirikan oleh Dirgantara I Ketut dan Yuni Utami di Bali, tahun 2015. Biro ini menangani aneka skala proyek, mulai dari arsitektur gedung hingga masterplan. Dalam mendesain, DDAP Architect memiliki visi: create identity in diversity.
Untuk mencapai visi tersebut, DDAP Architect menggunakan prinsip ‘warp & weft’, yang menekankan pada pembacaan makna tempat, untuk menghasilkan desain yang kontekstual.
Beberapa karya biro arsitektur ini seperti Monkey Forest Ubud, Pandawas Villas, dan Mangosteen Villa yang berlokasi di Ubud Bali, pernah dipublikasikan di sejumlah majalah nasional dan internasional. Proyek lainnya, Raywhite Office Ubud, Bali pernah mendapat penghargaan Raywhite Best New Office 2016. DDAP Architect juga kerap mengikuti sayembara dan meraih juara di beberapa kompetisi, seperti juara 1 Monkey Forest Park Competition, Bali (2015), 10 besar Sayembara Kota Sigli Aceh (2016), 15 Besar Sayembara Bali Art Cultural Park (2016).

Dirgantara I Ketut lahir di kota Denpasar, ia mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Arsitektur di Universitas Udayana, Bali, pada tahun 2008, kemudian mengambil magister arsitektur di Institut Teknologi Bandung dan lulus tahun 2011. Sebelum mendirikan DDAP Architect, ia sempat bekerja di PT Inspiral (2011) dan U Consultant International Pte Ltd Singapura (2012-2014).
Yuni Utami lahir di Klungkung, 1987, dan juga menyelesaikan pendidikan arsitektur di Jurusan Arsitektur Universitas Udayana, Bali, pada tahun 2008. Tiga tahun kemudian, ia mendapatkan gelar magister desain di Institut Teknologi Bandung. Setelah itu, ia bekerja di CAMS Design Pte. Ltd., Singapura (2011-2015). Saat ini selain bekerja di DDAP Architects, ia juga mengajar di Program Studi Desain Interior Sekolah Tinggi Desain Bali.
DDAP Architect is an architectural firm founded by Dirgantara I Ketut and Yuni Utami in Bali in 2015. The firm offers various services, focusing on architectural and master plan projects. DDAP Architects’ vision is to create an identity based on the variety of urban fabric and its architecture pattern. To achieve this vision, they use the idea of ‘warp and weft’ which focuses on the meaning of each place.
Some of their notable projects, such as the Ubud Monkey Forest, the Pandawas Villas, and the Mangosteen Villa in Ubud, Bali, have been published in a number of national and international magazines. Another project that is worth mentioning, the Ray White Office Ubud, Bali, was selected as Ray White’s Best New Office 2016. DDAP Architect has won several competitions, such as the first prize of the Monkey Forest Park Competition, Bali in 2015, The Top 10 of the Sigli Aceh City Competition in 2016, and the Top 15 of the Bali Art Cultural Park Competition in 2016.

Dirgantara I Ketut, also known as Dirga, was born in Denpasar, Bali. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Udayana University, Bali, in 2008, and later received his Master of Architecture from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2011. Whilst studying, Dirga often participated in national and international design competitions. Prior to founding DDAP Architect in 2015, he worked as senior architect for PT Inspiral in 2011 and then for U Consultant International Pte Ltd Singapore from 2012 to 2014.
Yuni Utami was born in Klungkung, Bali, in 1987. She completed her bachelor’s degree from the Architecture Department of Udayana University, Bali, in 2008. Three years later, she earned a Master of Design from Bandung Institute of Technology. After her graduation, she worked as a senior designer for CAMS Design Pte Ltd Singapore from 2011 to 2015. Aside from practices at DDAP Architects, she also teaches at Interior Design Study Program at the Bali Design College.
