Simon Dhoni Studio

[English text below] Simon Dhoni Studio didirikan di Medan di tahun 2004 oleh Simon Gani dan Ramadhoni Dwi Payana. Biro ini mengerjakan desain arsitektur, interior, dan lanskap, dengan desain kontemporer yang menyesuaikan diri ke dalam konteks lingkungan, serta responsif terhadap iklim.

Biro ini terhitung aktif berpartisipasi dalam sejumlah sayembara, dan beberapa di antaranya berhasil menuai prestasi. Contohnya pemenang Futurarc International Competition, Pajak USU Project (2011), Juara 3 Onduline Roofing National Competition (2015), dan 5 Besar Finalis Conwood House Competition (2015). Proyek-proyek Simon Dhoni Studio pernah dipublikasikan di beberapa majalah dan buku, yaitu proyek Revitalisasi Pajak USU di FuturArc Magazine (2011), dan proyek Ombus Ombus di buku Geo Etnik (2013). Adapun profil biro ini sudah dimuat di buku 50 Indonesian Architects + Emergings (2010).

PT Graha Putra Mandiri, Medan

Pada tahun pertengahan 2018, salah satu proyeknya, Graha Putra Mandiri Office, berhasil menyabet penghargaan IAI Awards 2018 untuk kategori pelestarian.

Simon Gani lahir di Medan, 1978 dan mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Teknik Arsitektur dari Universitas Parahyangan, Bandung, pada tahun 2001. Sebelum mendirikan biro arsitektur sendiri, Simon sempat bekerja di Tropland Landscape Studio (2001-2002) dan Nexus Studio Bali (2002-2003).

Ramadhoni Dwi Payana lahir di Medan, 1979, lulus dari Program Studi Arsitektur Universitas Sumatera Utara pada tahun 2001. Sebelum bermitra dengan Simon Gani, ia pernah bekerja di E-Design, Medan (2001-2002) dan HEPTA (Baskoro Tedjo Associate), Bandung (2002-2003).

Simon Dhoni Studio was founded by Simon Gani and Ramadhoni Dwi Payana in Medan, 2004. The firm is more than an architecture firm, as it also deals with interior and landscape design within an environmental-friendly contemporary approach.

The firm has participated in various competitions and won some of the awards, including being the first winner of FuturArc International Competition, Pajak USU Project (2011), the third winner of Onduline Roofing National Competition (2015), and big-five finalist of Conwood House Competition (2015). Several works of Simon Dhoni Studio were also published in magazines and books such as the Revitalization project of Pajak USU project that was featured on FuturArc Magazine (2011), and Ombus Ombus project on a book titled Geo Etnik (2013). The firm’s profile was also featured in 50 Indonesian Architects + Emergings (2010).

Simon Gani was born in Medan in 1978 and earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering from Catholic Parahyangan University, Bandung in 2001. Prior to establishing his own architecture firm, Simon worked for Tropland Landscape Studio (2001- 2002) and Nexus Studio Bali (2002-2003).

Ramadhoni Dwi Payana earned his degree in Architecture at Sumatra Utara University in 2001. Before Simon Gani, Ramadhoni who was born in Medan in 1979 worked for E-Design, Medan (2001-2002) and HEPTA (Baskoro Tedjo Associate), Bandung (2002-2003).
