[English text below] Berangkat dari pendekatan riset komprehensif dalam setiap desain, Suryawinata- Heinzelmann Architecture & Urbanism (SHAU) menjadi salah satu biro konsultan yang konsisten dalam mewujudkan arsitektur sebagai elemen pembentuk kota yang terintegrasi dengan lingkungan.
SHAU awalnya didirikan di Rotterdam dan Munich pada 2009 oleh Florian Heinzelmann, Tobias Hofmann, dan Daliana Suryawinata. Selanjutnya pada 2015, kantor utamanya dipusatkan di Bandung dengan Daliana dan Florian sebagai representasi. SHAU telah mengerjakan banyak proyek lokal dan internasional multiskala dengan jenis proyek yang beragam.
Selain berpraktik, mereka juga aktif mengikuti pameran arsitektur. Tahun 2010, SHAU terlibat dalam pameran Open City Exhibiton and Pavilion, Jakarta. Karyanya juga pernah ditampilkan pada 4th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (2009), dan Open City Batam Exhibition at the 5th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (2012).
SHAU telah banyak menerima penghargaan berkat desainnya yang inovatif. Penghargaan bergengsi yang pernah diraihnya antara lain INDE Awards 2018 untuk Influencer Category, Singapura, Lafarge Holcim Award for Sustainable Construction 2017 Silver Prize Asia Pacific, WAFX 2017 Award Smart City Category dari World Architecture Festival, dan Small Firm of the Year Award dari American Architecture Prize 2017. Karyanya Microlibrary Bima menerima penghargaan Architizer A+Award kategori Architecture + Community di tahun 2017. Beberapa publikasi penting mengenai karyanya terdapat dalam majalah FuturArc edisi Januari-Februari 2018, Open City: Designing Coexistence (2009), China’s Turn IABR, Rotterdam (2016), Open City Lagos karya Heinrich Boell Stiftung (2016), dan karya Alun-Alun Cicendo dalam ARCHINESIA Bookgazine (2018).

Lulus dari arsitektur, Universitas Tarumanagara (2002), Daliana Suryawinata bekerja untuk andramatin dan Han Awal & Partners sebelum kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan master arsitektur di Berlage Institute, Rotterdam, Belanda (2003). Ia sempat bekerja di biro ternama Belanda, OMA, MVRDV, dan west8. Selain berkarya di SHAU, ia tergabung dalam Indonesian Diaspora ‘Liveable Cities’ Platform.
Florian Heinzelmann lulus dari Diplommlngenieur (FH) Architektur, Munich University of Applied Sciences (2003) dan melanjutkan pendidikan di Berlage Institute, Rotterdam sejak 2004. Ia bekerja di UNStudio Amsterdam selama 3 tahun. Pada 2009, ia mendirikan SHAU bersama Daliana dan Tobias. Di antara kesibukannya, ia sempat bekerja sebagai pengajar dan project manager di TU Delft, Faculty of Architecture (2010-2012). Ia telah menyelesaikan disertasi PhD-nya di TU Eindhoven, Department of Built Environment pada 2018.
Starting every design with a comprehensive research approach, Suryawinata-Heinzelmann Architecture & Urbanism (SHAU) is an architecture firm that constantly integrates architecture into the surroundings.
SHAU was first established in Rotterdam and Munich in 2009 by Florian Heinzelmann, Tobias Hofmann and Daliana Suryawinata. Then, in 2015, their main office moved to Bandung with Daliana and Florian as representatives. SHAU has handled many multi-scale local and international projects.
SHAU is also active at architecture exhibitions. In 2010, SHAU joined Open City Exhibition and Pavilion, Jakarta. Their works have also been featured at the 4th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (2009) and Open City Batam Exhibition at the 5th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (2012).
SHAU has received a number of awards for its innovative designs such as INDE. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Tarumanagara University (2002), Daliana Suryawinata worked for andramatin and Han Awal & Partner before continuing her master’s degree at Berlage Institute, Rotterdam, the Netherland (2003). While there, she worked for famous Dutch architecture firms namely OMA, MVRDV, and west8. Apart from SHAU, she also participates in Indonesian Diaspora ‘Liveable Cities’ Platform.
Florian Heinzelmann graduated from Diplommlngenieur (FH) Architektur, Munich University of Applied Sciences (2003) and continued his study at Berlage Institute, Rotterdam in 2004.
