[English text below] KIND berawal dari kerjasama dua teman semasa SMA, Yonav Partana dan Adjie Negara, yang berkolaborasi jarak jauh dalam mengikuti sayembara-sayembara arsitektur. Kemudian pada tahun 2011, keduanya bergabung bersama Ajiv Parnata, yang telah terlebih dahulu memiliki biro interior, untuk mendirikan biro ini.
Semenjak KIND berdiri, biro yang berfokus pada arsitektur, desain interior, dan urban design ini telah menangani berbagai proyek berskala besar. Di antaranya Senopati Penthouse, Komplek Mixed-Use BSD Intermark, Alam Sutera Apartment, Grand Kamala Lagoon, Masterplan Royal Cikeas, dan Apartment Westown View Surabaya.

Selain berkarya, mereka juga aktif mengikuti dan memenangi berbagai sayembara. Beberapa di antaranya adalah Pemenang Pertama Sayembara Masjid Sriwijaya dengan karyanya berupa masterplan Masjid Sriwijaya (2011), Museum Kepresidenan Balai Kirti (2012), Menara Lemhanas (2014), serta meraih Peringkat Kedua untuk Sayembara Menara Jasindo dan Peringkat Pertama Sayembara Perancangan RTH Depok (2017).
Adjie Negara lulus dari Jurusan Arsitektur Institut Teknologi Bandung (2002), melanjutkan bekerja di Rekamatra (2002) serta bergabung dengan DP Architects Singapore (2003). Ia juga pernah bekerja di SPARCH (2007-2010). Ia memperolah gelar Master of Arts Urban Design dari National University of Singapore (2010). Ia pernah terlibat dalam perancangan proyek skala internasional seperti Arzanah Masterplan, Rihan Heights Development di Abu Dhabi dan beberapa proyek lain di Singapura, Malaysia, dan China semasa ia bekerja di SPARCH.
Yonav Partana menempuh pendidikan sarjana arsitektur di Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung dan lulus pada 2002. Kemudian ia meraih gelar Master of Science di bidang Architecture, Urbanism and Building Science dari Technische Universiteit Delft, Belanda pada 2005. Pada tahun yang sama ia juga bergabung dengan Hyperbody Research Group yang berkolaborasi dengan ONL Office untuk Project Interactive Architecture pada Future for Cities Exhibition di Nancy, Perancis. Sejak 2006, ia bergabung menjadi pengajar di Universitas Gunadarma dan terlibat dalam perencanaan dan pembangunan kampus tersebut.
Ajiv Parnata menyelesaikan studi arsitekturnya di Diablo Valley College pada 2004. Kemudian di tahun 2008, ia lulus dari Georgia Institute of Technology, USA dengan gelar Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Selanjutnya di tahun 2011, ia memperoleh gelar Master of Science Degree in Economics dari Universitas Indonesia. Selain berkarya di KIND, ia juga terlibat dalam tim perencanaan dan pembangunan Universitas Gunadarma yang berfokus pada desain interior.
KIND was started as a long-distance collaboration between the previous high school mates, Yonav Partana and Adjie Negara, in participating in the architecture competitions. In 2011, along with Ajiv Parnata, who already had an interior firm, they established this firm.
Since KIND was founded, the architecture firm that focused on architecture, interior design, and urban design has worked on a number of large-scale projects. Some of them are Senopati Penthouse, BSD Intermark Mixed-Use Complex, Alam Sutera Apartment, Grand Kamala Lagoon, Royal Cikeas masterplan, and Westown View Apartment Surabaya.

Adjie Negara graduated from architecture major at Bandung Institute of Technology (2002), then worked at Rekamantra (2002), and joined DP Architects Singapore in 2003. He also worked at SPARCH from 2007 to 2010. He then received his master’s degree from the Master of Arts Urban Design program at the National University of Singapore (2010). He was involved in international scale design projects, such as Arzanah masterplan, Rihan Heights Development in Abu Dhabi, and some other projects in Singapore, Malaysia, and China during his time working at SPARCH.
Yonav Partana studied architecture at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, and graduated in 2002. He then received his master’s degree from Master of Science in Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Science from Technische Universiteit Delft, Netherlands, in 2005. In the same year, he joined Hyperbody, a research group at the Faculty of Architecture at the TU Delft, and collaborated with ONL Office for Project Interactive Architecture in Future for Cities Exhibition, Nancy, France. He joined Gunadarma University as a lecturer of Architectural Design Studio in 2005 and is involved in the designing and development of the campus.
Ajiv Parnata finished his architecture study at Diablo Valley College in 2004 and graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology, United States of America, in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After that, in 2011, he received a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia. Apart from designing with KIND, he is involved in the interior division of the Design and Development Team of Gunadarma University.
