The Maya Ubud
[English text below] Perancangan Hotel Maya Ubud memanfaatkan kondisi alam yang berkontur.
The Maya Ubud takes advantage of its naturally contoured land. Sitting on a long and narrow hilltop, between the Petanu and Pakerisan rivers, the site is in the shape of a thin ellipse.
The hotel is divided into two rows of detached bungalows, separated by a promenade that spans 800 meters in the Kaja-Kelod (North-South) direction. The bungalows are placed lower than the promenade so that only two rows of roofs are visible from the walkway.
A reception courtyard and a row of two-storied guest rooms sit perpendicular to that promenade. To the opposite end, a tranquil riverside spa is tucked away from the rest of the hotel at the bottom of a steep drop in the valley.
