This house is situated in a typical housing development with similar types of rooms and facades. The house occupies a 7×15 square-metre lot that coincides with neighboring houses. The homeowner wishes to add space in this house, and the architect’s solution is to rotate the second floor by 45 degrees in response to sun exposure. The twisted floor reduces the amount of tropical sun glare into the house, while the ground area adds a layer of secondary skin.
