DDAP ARCHITECT Brings a Harmony with Nature through RUANG TEKUNI in Bali
Located in Kuta, Bali, RUANG TEKUNI is a boutique apartment for young expats. Standing on 700 square meter areas, this apartment consists of 12 rooms, one residential house, and a swimming pool. Besides that, there are parking areas, services, and administration room on the ground floor.
DDAP ARCHITECT brings the concept of tropical rainforest on the apartment’s design to present buildings that are in harmony with nature, through the existence of a courtyard. The courtyard designed by combining the water, stone, trees, and light elements.
The courtyard in the middle of the building is one of the special areas in RUANG TEKUNI.
The natural sound from this area, such as the sound of flowing water, leaves, and the blowing of cold air can be enjoyed by apartment users through small windows designed facing the courtyard. Also over apartment terrace which is designed jutting the courtyard.
Not only that, but the natural elements also presented on using wood materials in buildings and furniture inside.
To support the function of the building and the convenience of the users, RUANG TEKUNI also is equipped with a roof-garden which can be used to enjoy the sunrise and have a BBQ party at night.
